First Impressions

This blogs title does not refer to the deep South of the United States or the old Confederacy or South America. The theme is the really deep South of the Antarctic region - the South Pole! Nor am I particularly concerned with environmental or scientific projects in the Antarctic. For that information you'll need to look elsewhere. Instead I will explore the geopolitics of the South Polar Region with various what if scenarios and make comparisions with the geopolitical conditions outside of the South Polar Region. I'll try to make these excursions interesting to the politically inquiring mind.
